Thato is passionate about using actuarial and analytics tools to influence business decisions within organisations, with the purpose of driving innovation and profitable growth.
He takes a solutions-oriented approach to business challenges, specifically new product development and remediating poor performing entities and lines of business.
In his role as Head of Analytics he assesses client risk, using our highly specialised risk software to help primary insurers identify the best reinsurance options that maximise capital returns when ceding risk.
He has a BSC in Economic Science (with Actuarial Science and Mathematical Statistics) from Wits University (2014) and is a member of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (TASSA).
